Justin Hartley returns as Colter Shaw in Season 2 of CBS’s crime mystery series “Tracker,” and this time fans will get to see more of the Shaw family drama.
The series, which the “This Is Us” star also serves as executive producer, is based on Jeffrey Deaver’s “The Never Game” book series. Like in Season 1, Hartley’s character has a lot of weight to shoulder between solving crimes and dealing with his family’s tragedy.
During the press tour stop at the Television Critics Association, executive producer Elwood Reid said Season 2 will delve a little deeper into Colter’s “dysfunctional family.”
“But we’ll get to know Colter as someone who really bears the brunt of that dysfunction,” Reid explained. “And we’re going to dive deeper into that this season as we explore some more things with his sister. And of course, we have a little secret that we revealed in Episode 13 last year that we learned that his sister was holding some information that could shed some light on some family issues.”
The full cast includes Hartley, Fiona Rene, Abby McEnany, and Eric Graise. Additionally, Ackles will reprise his role as Colter’s brother Russell. Here’s everything you need to know about the series premiere and where to stream Season 2 of “Tracker.”
