‘Hacks’ Season 4 Books ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Medalion Rahimi (Exclusive)

Hacks is adding a familiar face from the NCIS universe. Variety has learned exclusively that Medalion Rahimi, best known to TV audiences as Special Agent Fatima Namazi on NCIS: Los Angeles, will guest star in Season 4 of the Emmy-winning Max comedy.

Rahimi will appear in the fourth episode of the season, which premieres April 24. Season 4 debuted on April 10, with the official logline teasing: “Tensions rise as Deborah (Jean Smart) and Ava (Hannah Einbinder) endeavor to get their late-night show off the ground and make history doing it.”

From NCIS to Comedy

Rahimi is coming off four seasons on NCIS: LA, where her fan-favorite role as Fatima Namazi made her a standout in the procedural’s final years. Her additional TV credits include Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, Netflix’s From Scratch, and Shondaland’s Still Star-Crossed. On the film side, she has appeared in Before I Fall and XOXO, and she is currently producing and starring in the feature The Weekend on Cape Cod When Everything Changed.

A Star-Studded Season

Rahimi joins an already stacked Hacks cast led by Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, alongside Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Mark Indelicato, and more. Season 4 also welcomes Julianne Nicholson, Michaela Watkins, Bresha Webb, Eric Balfour, and Kaitlin Olson, among others.

Behind the scenes, the series comes from Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, who serve as showrunners and executive producers, with Universal Television producing.

For Rahimi, the Hacks role marks another exciting step beyond the procedural world, showcasing the range that made her one of NCIS: Los Angeles’ breakout stars.
