‘Hacks’ Season 4 Adds ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ Star Medalion Rahimi to Cast (EXCLUSIVE)

Medalion Rahimi is making a move from high-stakes crime solving to high-pressure comedy.

Variety has exclusively learned that the NCIS: Los Angeles alum will guest star in Season 4 of the hit Max series Hacks. Rahimi is set to make her debut in Episode 4, airing April 24, and will appear in a total of three episodes this season.

Season 4 of Hacks premiered on April 10 with its first two episodes. According to the official logline, the season follows rising tensions as legendary comedian Deborah Vance (Jean Smart) and her writing partner Ava (Hannah Einbinder) work to launch a late-night show that could cement their place in television history.

Rahimi is best known for her role as Special Agent Fatima Namazi on the long-running CBS procedural NCIS: Los Angeles. Her additional TV credits include Hulu’s Pam & Tommy, Netflix’s From Scratch, and Shondaland’s Still Star-Crossed. On the film side, she has appeared in XOXO and Before I Fall, and she is currently producing and starring in the upcoming indie feature The Weekend on Cape Cod When Everything Changed.

Hacks stars Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, with an ensemble cast that includes Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Mark Indelicato, Dan Bucatinsky, Helen Hunt, Tony Goldwyn, Kaitlin Olson, and more.

This season also welcomes new faces, including Julianne Nicholson, Michaela Watkins, Bresha Webb, Robby Hoffman, Eric Balfour, Danny Jolles, and others.

The series was created by Downs, Lucia Aniello, and Jen Statsky, who serve as showrunners and executive producers. Downs and Aniello executive produce under their Paulilu banner, while Statsky does so through First Thought Productions. Michael Schur executive produces for Fremulon, alongside David Miner for 3 Arts Entertainment, Morgan Sackett, and Joe Mande. The series is produced by Universal Television.
