Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Trailer Teases Major Character Deaths: Who Will Survive? md06

The full Grey’s Anatomy trailer for Season 22’s premiere has arrived to raise your blood pressure to worrisome levels.

The sneak peek begins by reminding viewers of the explosive cliffhanger that closed out the Season 21 finale, in which Grey Sloan Memorial went boom! with several docs still inside the hospital. While we previously only knew that Meredith and Ben were safe — they both outside the building at the time of the explosion — the trailer reveals that Teddy, Owen, Amelia, Jo and Catherine are not in immediate danger. However, several of their loved ones are MIA.

“I’m not going anywhere until I find Miranda,” Ben declares as he runs into the wreckage. Jo, meanwhile, says Link, who was in the OR, is not answering his phone, and Amelia is in tears, which really does not bode well for his chances.

“Fatalities?” a somber Catherine asks Teddy, and let’s just say the Chief of Surgery does not look like she has any good news to deliver.

In an August interview with E! News, Camilla Luddington, who plays Link’s new bride Jo, called the upcoming Season 22 premiere a “really rough” episode for her character. Whatever happens in the hour, it was enough to make Luddington apprehensive about returning to work. “There are some premieres that I’m excited to come back and film,” the actress said. “We’ve had some really funny openers and this one, I think I can say this, I was really dreading.”

She went on to share that while “the finale was crazy, our premiere is even crazier. There is so much going on.”

“It’s wild. There’s so much going on. There’s so much action nonstop,” Luddington added. “I think viewers are gonna be really excited to watch, but also like, there’s some hard moments.”
