It seems odd to say that we’re getting the Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 fall finale weeks before Thanksgiving, but here we are.
This is going to be a big episode, as well.
At least, it will when it comes to arguments between Teddy and Owen, as the drama around their feelings for each other continues to take over. On top of that, there’s more about Link and Jo as they face an emergency no expectant parents ever wish for.

A Bus Crash
If there’s one thing that Grey’s Anatomy likes to do, it’s a major emergency, and the promo makes it clear that it’s happening in this episode.
There’s a woman trapped underneath the bus, and Teddy thinks that there’s no choice but to get under the bus to help.
If the patient’s legs are trapped under something, how exactly is Teddy going to be able to help while underneath?
There’s very little she can do, yet she is putting herself in danger because that bus isn’t stabilized.
I doubt anything will actually happen to Teddy in this episode, and that bus jerking is likely just a small move as the firefighters begin stabilizing the bus.
However, we have to have some drama, right?
We can see that Owen and Teddy are both there, and Owen is going to try to talk Teddy out of getting under the bus.
This isn’t just for Teddy’s sake, but for their children’s sake, as they need a mother in their lives even if they’re not together as a couple.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 6 will bring an “awkward encounter” between the two of them, because at this point, every episode has to do this!

Things have been awkward between them since they broke up, with Owen not willing to actually share his feelings.
That’s what is so toxic about the two of them — and about Owen in general.
They need to speak with each other and share how they feel; otherwise, it all just builds up, and that’s exactly what they’re letting happen.
Jo Is In Labor
At the end of Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 Episode 5, Jo’s waters broke, and she’s going into labor.
This is supposed to be an exciting time, but things are about to go wrong, and maybe they should have been ready for this, considering how often there are complications with a pregnancy and a birth when it comes to the doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial.

How scared should Link be?
It looks like “very” should be the answer, as Winston says that “her heart is failing.”
I just have a question: Is that Jo’s heart or one of the twins’ hearts?
My guess is that it would be Jo’s, which would then create a major arc for Link as he has to make decisions as a husband and father.
It will be up to him to decide the type of treatment that Jo receives, and he isn’t going to just let his wife die.

Link just recently went through questions of faith with Jo, as he shared that he couldn’t see how there was a God if there were so many terrible things happening, and he didn’t feel like Jo’s prayers did anything for him.
However, he may find himself turning to faith as Jo’s life is on the line, and he may end up praying to a God he’s not sure is there, because it brings him comfort, as it did for Jo.
There are some heart problems that can be solved through the birth of a child, and that is what could be happening with this storyline, but right now, there are fears that Jo will die.
While the synopsis suggests Webber testing Bailey’s patience, it’s hard to see what that storyline entails, so it’s hard to speculate on what could happen here.

But since when doesn’t Webber test Bailey’s patience?
There have been a few times that he’s done something that has riled her the wrong way, but in the end, the two always find a way to work together, and that’s sure to be the case in the Grey’s Anatomy Season 22 fall finale.
Grey’s Anatomy airs on Thursdays at 10/9c on ABC.
It’s like yelling into the void sometimes — so if you’re out there, holler back.
Comments, shares, and good vibes all keep this little ship afloat. Thanks for reading.
