Gordon Ramsay’s Latest Move Has Nothing to Do with Cooking

While some celebrities have spoken out against the use of artificial intelligence (AI), the famed TV personality and restaurateur is embracing it in a way that’ll let fans access him in a whole new way–well, his breadth of knowledge at least.

Ramsay is joining MasterClass On Call, the “first AI foray into [MasterClass’] vision for personalized learning, coaching, and mentorship,” according to the online learning platform, alongside the ranks of billionaire investor Mark Cuban, former FBI hostage negotiator and author Chris Voss and sleep scientist Dr. Matt Walker.

Basically, it allows fans to chat with AI personas of celebrities and skilled leaders so that the “unique experiences and knowledge” of the A-listers involved, such as the Hell’s Kitchen star or the Shark Tank alum, can be life lessons learned for the masses through “personalized guidance, insights, and strategies” tailored to members needs.

In Ramsay’s case, fans can easily browse and unlock over 1,000 of his recipes tweaked to exact dietary and serving size needs, whether it be a party of two or 12. The AI persona will also offer “unfiltered culinary advice rooted in Gordon’s lived experiences, lessons and philosophies” across a broad range of topics (like knife skills and how to sear a steak), according to the release–which also confirmed that unlike, those weird incidents with Tom Hanks, this AI persona was built in partnership with the MasterChef himself.

“AI has been such a huge topic of conversation for the last few years – I’ve spent a long time figuring out what I wanted to do and more importantly who to do it with!” Ramsay said in a statement. “That’s why MasterClass On Call has been one of the most exciting things I’ve been involved with. It’s me, in your kitchen, by your side, 24/7.”

Ramsay, 58, promised fans that “My AI will give you [the] confidence to take it up a level,” no matter what they’re attempting when referencing his MasterClass On Call personality, whether it be “following one of my recipes or trying to cook the perfect steak.”

While MasterCall On Call only offers AI personas of four celebs right now, it’s currently in Beta testing and expects to add replicas of several other industry titans for fans to pick the brains of, including:

● Doris Kearns Goodwin, Pulitzer Prize-Winning Biographer (Leadership)

●Ray Dalio, Investor and Entrepreneur (Decision-Making)

● Richard Branson, Entrepreneur and Innovator (Entrepreneurship)
