Gordon Ramsay’s iconic Hell’s Kitchen restaurant to open first Canadian location near Edmonton

Alberta’s restaurant scene is officially heating up, with an iconic restaurant chain from none other than Gordon Ramsay set to open near Edmonton next year.

In a first for Canada, Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will be opening at the River Cree Resort and Casino, and it’s slated to open in early 2026.

Inspired by the hit TV series of the same name in which chefs were pitted against each other as red and blue teams for dinner services and eliminations, the Hell’s Kitchen restaurants provide a unique dining experience that transports guests directly to the set.

While the menu for River Cree hasn’t been confirmed yet, the restaurant is known for dishes such as Beef Wellington, pan-seared scallops, lobster risotto, and sticky toffee pudding, to name a few.

“I’m delighted to announce that my new Hell’s Kitchen will be opening at the River Cree Resort early next year,” Ramsay said.

“We always receive such a warm welcome in Canada, and I’m excited to see the new restaurant come to life over the next few months.”

Currently, there are seven Hell’s Kitchen restaurants in the U.S., located in cities such as Las Vegas, Miami, and Washington, D.C.

Earlier this year, another of Ramsay’s projects, Gordon Ramsay Steak, opened its first location in Vancouver.
