Gordon Ramsay Restaurants to open six locations in India with TFS

The first two of these establishments will open in the final quarter of 2024.

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants has teamed up with Indian travel food and beverage company Travel Food Services (TFS) to open six new restaurants in the country.

The expansion will feature brands such as Gordon Ramsay Plane Food, Street Pizza, Street Burger and Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To-Go.

The first two of these establishments will open in the final quarter of 2024, while the remaining four will be operational by 2027.

The move marks a substantial growth phase for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants, which currently holds eight Michelin stars across its global portfolio of 88 restaurants.

Its chief executive Andy Wenlock said: “India’s rich culinary heritage and its reputation for hospitality make it the perfect landscape for our brands.

“With Travel Food Services, Indian airports are the new stage for our culinary journey, and we are excited to see how travellers embrace these vibrant, flavour-intense dining experiences.”

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants has established a strong global presence, with operations at 34 locations in the UK, 32 in the US and an additional 22 across cities and countries including Shanghai, South Korea, Malaysia, France and Thailand.

TFS has a strong presence in India’s travel food sector, with operations spanning 19 cities and management responsibility for 350 restaurants across airports and highways.
