The Golden Bachelor star Theresa Nist has sparked some concern from fans after her latest public appearance with Gerry Turner.
Two months after their live-streamed nuptials, Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are seemingly still going strong as the pair made a united front at his granddaughter’s volleyball game over the weekend.
However, some eagle-eyed fans pointed out one minor detail that they believe could be indicating some troubled waters in their relationship.
The Golden Bachelor star appeared to have switched her intricate diamond engagement ring for a far more simple gold band with a few sparkling gems.
As the 72-year-old shared a collection of snaps from the family day out on Instagram, fans debated in the comments section, with one follower questioning: “Why doesn’t she wear her diamond anymore? She hasn’t had it on all year.”
A second piled on the concerns adding: “I wore my diamond engagement ring and wedding band all the time.”
However, another argued: “The majority of the time I only wear my wedding band and only really wear my engagement ring as well if I’m dressing up.
“It’s super common. I think a lot of people are like me and don’t like it getting snagged or always hitting things,” they claimed.
Elsewhere in the comments, Gerry’s granddaughter Charlee shared her appreciation for the ABC stars’ appearance writing: “Thanks for coming to support me! Love you!”
Theresa’s engagement holds a lot of significance for the couple as Gerry had the Neil Lane ring designed with both of their life journeys in mind.
Gerry popped the question on-camera last November with a vintage-inspired princess cut diamond ring featuring two baguette cut diamonds with 128 small, round diamonds totaling at 3.15 carats.
The designer explained to People at the time that this ring was different from the others he crafted for the Bachelor Nation as the first series featuring senior citizens focused on stars looking for a second chance at true love.
