Susan Noles Reveals Major Injury While On Vacation
Susan Noles has made the most of her 15 minutes of fame after appearing on Gerry Turner’s Golden Bachelor season. She didn’t come close to winning his heart but won over viewers with her funny commentary. Susan remained good friends with Gerry Turner and his winner, Theresa Nist. She even officiated their televised wedding in January 2024, though the marriage only lasted a few months.
Her popularity led to a podcast co-hosting gig with bestie Kathy Swarts. They co-host the Bachelor Happy Hour: Golden Hour podcast.
She’ll have a lot to talk about on the next episode. Susan Noles revealed on Instagram that she suffered a serious injury that required a trip to emergency medical services. She shared images of an x-ray on her arm and wrist. Susan captioned the post with a simple, “Not good.”
She also shared images of signs posted in the hospital about payment requirements for non-residents. The notices are in English but have the name of the hospital in French. The incident happened in St. Barth, an island in the Caribbean. Susan Noles previously posted earlier in the week from nearby St. Martin.
Golden Bachelor Star Reveals How It Happened
The caption on the Golden Bachelor star’s post didn’t share any information about how it happened. One fan joked that Susan Noles was “Boogying down with ur new man on the dance floor and you slipped on a banana peel?! Geesh! Too many of those island dranks!”
What really happened to the reality star is less imaginative, though. She revealed the details in a comment to another fan. Susan wrote, “I was taking a trail to go watch people surf and some of it was a little bit rough when my foot hit the ground. I hit gravel and slid so I went to break my fall and I broke my wrist in two places.”

What’s Next In Her Recovery?
Susan Noles received a lot of love and well wishes from her social media followers. Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on Gerry Turner’s season and later the first Golden Bachelorette, left a comment. She offered, “Oh no! Let me know if you need me to come take care of you…or hire a hot male nurse!”
Susan Noles shared in a comment on the post that the injury was actually quite serious. “I’m on an airplane now flying home. I’m gonna see a surgeon in the morning. They wanna do surgery,” she revealed.
She will likely continue updating her followers on the recovery from the broken wrist.
