Golden Bachelor’s Leslie Fhima exposes long-standing Golden Bachelorette rumor

Golden Bachelor’s Leslie Fhima has addressed a long-standing rumor she could be the next Golden Bachelorette.

Former Golden Bachelor alum Leslie Fhima has finally set the record straight on Golden Bachelorette rumors.

During a recent appearance on the BachMakers podcast, Leslie revealed that she has never been approached by ABC to helm the next season of the spin-off.

After competing on Gerry Turner’s inaugural season last year, many fans were convinced that Leslie would be chosen as the next Golden Bachelorette, especially since she got brutally dumped on national television during the finale.

One of the hosts of the podcast, Wyatt Metzger, asked Leslie: “Were there any conversations or even thoughts in your head about Golden Bachelorette? A would I be interested in this? and B were there actually any conversations with the network?”

Leslie replied: “Nobody asked me.”

When questioned if she would have done Golden Bachelorette, Leslie replied: “Yeah. I never had one conversation. Nobody talked to me about it at all.

“I was supposed to be or I was maybe considered for Dancing With the Stars and I thought I was gonna be on that and that didn’t work out either.”

“I think you would crush it on there. Would you still be open to it cause I think that door could still be open?” Wyatt replied.

Leslie added: “That well I don’t know if that door is gonna ever be open again ’cause I have to stay relevant. That would be my dream come true. I actually was ecstatic when I got a phone call about it and I started training.”

She continued: “I got a trainer even though I am a trainer. I worked out all summer long.

“I got in the best shape I have ever been in my life but I got to know it was like towards the end of August where I kind of got caught. I learned a lot you never say no to anything cause I did turn down a Hulu show cause I wanted to concentrate on getting in shape and don’t ever count on anything until you’re actually doing it.”

Leslie also opened up about dating rumors with Golden Bachelorette suitor Jordan Heller.

Leslie and Jordan first sparked dating rumors in late October after she shared a selfie of them on her Instagram Story.

Days later, she opened up about the selfie during an interview and said that she really likes the former reality TV star, thinks they have a lot in common and that things feel “organic” between them.

Leslie has now further revealed some juicy details about the dating rumors, sharing that she was the one who “slid into his DMs.”

He caught her eye while on Joan Vassos’ inaugural season of Golden Bachelorette.

After sliding into his DMs, Jordan invited her to an LA Football Club suite to watch a soccer game.

During the October 27 event, the two took their selfie that she posted on her Instagram Story.

Further adding about her and Jordan’s selfie, Leslie said: “We were going to take a selfie. I’m really short. I’m like not even 5’4″ and he is kinda tall, so the selfie was awkward. So I jumped up.”

It was an “innocent” action, but the personal trainer explained that she had an idea. “Catch me,” she told him, and that’s when “I jumped up and I took it.”

The BachMakers podcast host said this was clearly meant to be a date and when asked about her thoughts, Leslie had a different perception.

“We’re just friends right now,” she clarified, but she did follow it up with: “Who knows what is going to happen?”

Leslie reiterated that she and Jordan have a lot in commmon, including their Jewish religion, and explained that the Jewish community in Minneapolis and Chicago are quite connected.

During an interview with ET following October 29’s episode of Dancing with the Stars, Leslie said: “I think he’s amazing and adorable. He’s very cute. He’s very very handsome. And I think we have a lot in common, so you never know.”

When ET asked if there was something, Leslie laughed: “Well, on my end.”

Speaking about what has surprised her about forming a connection out of Joan’s season, the star explained: “I think it’s really nice because it’s organic. You know, you’re meeting somebody not with the cameras on you and being miced and all that stuff.”
