Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner bursts into tears after Daisy’s heartbreaking confession
During the live Bachelor finale, The Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner was visible moved by Daisy’s conversation with Joey’s family.
The Golden Bachelor was in tears in the audience during Daisy Kent’s visit with Joey Graziadei’s family.
In the final episode of The Bachelor’s Season 28, Daisy got a chance to meet Joey’s family, getting a sit down with his sisters and mother.
During the live show, the camera cut to Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner, who was in tears at the meeting. He was especially touched by Daisy’s talk with Joey’s mom.
The non-profit owner confessed she has been hurt in the past after loving too big. It’s caused her to be closed off.
“I put up walls from past relationships because I give my all and don’t get it back,” she said.
Joey’s mom said being afraid of getting hurt can make the process more difficult, but both she and Daisy agreed Joey is worth it.
Daisy said: “He’s worth it but the last few weeks have been hard. I’m so confident in him. I’m so sure. It is scary. I’d rather put it all out there than it not be there because he’s so perfect to me.”
Joey’s mom was able to see Daisy’s true feelings shining through.
She said: “You care for him. You see a future with him. I can see that that would be very special and I want the best for you.”
She also told Daisy she’d be honored to be her mother in law, and Daisy returned the sentiment.
Gerry was clearly moved by this conversation. Fans of the show tweeted about his reaction.
“Not 20 minutes in and Gerry is in the corner of my screen crying. I love that man so much lol.”
