Golden Bachelorette’s ‘perfect’ choice explained by former Bachelor star
Bachelor alum Hannah Ann Sluss reveals her top choice for the first Golden Bachelorette, sparking intrigue for the new spin-off series.
Hannah Ann Sluss from The Bachelor has shared her pick for the star of the anticipated spin-off, The Golden Bachelorette.
The new show, The Golden Bachelor, featuring 72-year-old Gerry Turner seeking love among women over 50, was a huge hit.
There’s been a buzz about a female-led version of the show, with fans eager to see it happen.
Hannah believes Leslie Fhima would be perfect for the lead, recalling her impressive journey to the final rounds of The Golden Bachelor.
Sadly, Leslie didn’t win Gerry’s affection, as he chose Theresa Nist instead.
Hannah shared her hopes for Leslie to be the next lead.
“I would love it to be Leslie, just because I know her and I’m rooting for her love story,” she told the US Sun.
However, she acknowledged that the show’s producers might surprise everyone by not choosing someone from a previous season. She noted how The Bachelor sometimes introduces fresh faces, leaving viewers less connected to their stories.
Hannah found the dynamics of the senior spin-off different but genuine, believing it offers real hope for lasting relationships.
ABC hasn’t officially announced a Golden Bachelorette series yet, but Reality Steve, known for his podcast and spoiler reveals, has shared some inside scoop.
He suggests that the network plans to shoot the much-awaited show in the spring of 2024.
On his Daily Roundup podcast, he mentioned that The Golden Bachelorette is likely to air after the new season of The Bachelorette. He believes the series will come out in the next few months, based on what audiences seem to want.
The well-known blogger predicts that The Bachelorette will stick to its regular filming timeline from March to early May. After that, the crew will start shooting the first season of the “golden” version.
He then speculated about potential leads for the show.
While no official choices have been made yet, fans are rooting for their favorites from Gerry Turner’s season to take the lead. Reality Steve bets on either Faith Martin, who finished third, or finalist Leslie as likely choices.
On his podcast, Steve mentioned, “The only reasonable person it would make sense for, at least one of two people if they’re gonna go the route they always do for Bachelor and Bachelorette, which is [to] choose someone from the previous season, the only two that make sense, really, are Faith or Leslie.”
