Before going over their plans for upcoming vacations and Joan’s favorite Wichita spots, Chock said that he’s “a little cranky” following his surgery. “I can’t see out of my right eye,” he admitted.

Joan, being his dutiful partner, is right there by his side, even though he’s acting “a little cranky.” She is supportive of him, even laughing as he talked about how he was irritable, and defending him by saying he’s a trooper.
Joan probably has some experience being a caretaker, seeing as how she has four kids and two grandkids. Plus, she was with her late husband, John, throughout his pancreatic cancer journey. John passed away in 2021 after a two-year battle.
