Golden Bachelorette’s Joan and Chock are moving forward with wedding planning.
Golden Bachelorette fans watched as Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple fell in love on the show last Fall, and now, the pair have some news about when they may tie the knot.
Chock and Joan became engaged at the end of the show, which fans found to be “boring” and “obvious,” and since then, fans have seen them embrace their first Christmas tradition together, as well as acknowledge their disagreements.
However, there hasn’t been any major updates when it comes to the pair’s plans to wed.
Now, Chock is opening up about when they think the big day could arrive.
Taking to social media, he shared nothing was set in stone, but they did have some target dates in mind.
On his Instagram stories, Chock admitted they were asked “all the time” about their plans, and that they are narrowing things down.
“Somebody today at lunch said, ‘[20]25?’” he shared on Jan. 14. “And I said, ‘Maybe at the end of [20]25 or [20]26.’”
He added that in the meantime, the two were still getting “closer” off camera, “having a lot of fun together just getting to know each other.”
“So it’s time well spent,” he said.
The update comes after the two made it clear when the show ended that they had no intention of getting married quickly, a move that was made by first Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist.
Gerry and Theresa wed in January 2024, just two months after their engagement aired on TV.
However, by April of that year, they had announced their divorce.
