THE Golden Bachelorette Joan Vassos’ four finalists have been revealed ahead of the season premiere.
The highly anticipated Golden Bachelor follow-up is set to premiere on September 18 on ABC.
The inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette will star Joan, 61, a fan-favorite contestant from Gerry Turner’s season of The Golden Bachelor.
Viewers watched as the TV personality’s quest to find love was cut short after she voluntarily withdrew from the competition to prioritize her family.
But her search is back on and 24 love-ready candidates have put it all on the line for the chance to win Joan’s heart.
On Tuesday, writer and podcaster Reality Steve dished on Joan’s final four, including the eventual The Golden Bachelorette winner, in an X post.
Reality Steve revealed Joan will have four hometown dates this season.
One with salon owner Pascal Igbui, another with insurance executive Chock Chapple, a third with emergency room doctor Guy Gansert, and a final hometown date with sales manager Jordan Heller.
Pascal and Guy will move forward as both Chock and Jordan are eliminated.
Joan won’t get the opportunity to decide between the final two contestants as Pascal will eliminate himself, claiming he wasn’t in love with Joan, per the insider.
That will leave Guy as the winner of Joan’s heart and the first season of The Golden Bachelorette.
“Joan is with Guy Gansert. I do not know if they got engaged or not,” Reality Steve confessed in the post.
JOAN’S JOURNEY
Bachelor fans have already seen Joan as she was a contestant on Gerry’s season last year.
However, halfway through the show, Joan had to leave due to a phone call she received from her daughter.
She took Gerry to speak to him privately right outside the Bachelor Mansion.
“I got a text this morning and I think I need to go home and be a mom,” Joan said at the time.
“So as much as I don’t want to leave and I don’t want to leave our journey I’ve got to go home and be a parent.”
Gerry was disappointed by Joan’s decision but understood why she had to leave.
“There’s a moral compass that we both share and sometimes the right thing to do is the hardest,” he said.
GOLDEN BACHELORETTE
Fans got a teaser of the upcoming season with a video that showed Joan walking down a gold hallway wearing a gold dress.
She carried a golden rose and said, “I’m Joan and I’m your first Golden Bachelorette.”
In her Instagram Stories, Joan reposted the video, revealing she was honored and excited for her next journey to find love.
Fans were thrilled by the producer’s pick, with one writing, “Such a good move with selecting her.”
Another said, “I was hoping for Joan! I love this.”
FANS’ FRONTRUNNERS
Golden Bachelorette fans have already selected frontrunners from Joan Vassos’ cast while gushing over her handsome suitors.
ABC released a teaser for the upcoming season of the dating competition series, introducing fans to some of the men.
The clip was set to an instrumental version of Come and Get Your Love by Redbone, and kicked off with Joan’s cast introducing themselves.
Fans were introduced to Jack, Charles, RJ, Pascal, Jonathan, Bill, Keith, Mark, Gil, Jordan, Gary, and a few other Golden Bachelorette hopefuls.
The cast shared their names and a few details about their personal lives including their jobs and, in some cases, hobbies.
Fans online said they were stunned by how attractive they found the cast, sounding off in the comments and later in a Reddit thread dedicated to the show.
Additionally, some fans decided who they think will be the frontrunners this season.
“This is so much more attractive than the regular Bachelorette contestants,” one person gushed in the comments on Instagram.
“These guys are great!! Classy and youthful. Oh Joan I’m sure you had a blast with these men! I’m 45 and I’m like wow these [guys] are all a catchy! Can’t wait to watch. Get your guy Joan,” a second fan wrote.
