Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist attended a recent Disney+ party together after reports of living apart. They’re the first couple to emerge from the “Golden Bachelor,” and they’re seemingly still going strong.
Many fans expressed concern that the two were facing tough times after news spread that they were living apart. Though they married in January, they still have yet to move in together.
According to TMZ, Gerry is still living at his Indiana lake house while Theresa is still living at her New Jersey home.
Sources close to the couple revealed a few reasons why they aren’t living together. For one thing, there’s the hassle of a cross-country move, which would be inconvenient.
Additionally, both Gerry and Theresa are close with their respective families and don’t want to move too far away from them. Theresa also still works in New Jersey and is figuring out what she wants to do about her career at this time.
In other words, they both have strong ties to their current home states right now. Still, sources reassured that they are very much in love — and this recent outing seems to confirm that.

Gerry and Theresa quickly became Bachelor Nation’s sweethearts after coming off the first season of “Golden Bachelor.”
The two shared a pure love that blossomed over the course of their time on the show, and it appears they’re still living in their “happily ever after,” despite living apart.
Gerry and Theresa enjoyed a red-carpet date night on Friday at the Hulu on Disney+ celebration in Los Angeles.
According to Us Weekly, “This marks the first public event the reality show duo has attended since it was revealed that the married couple has not yet moved in together — even though they tied the knot on-camera in January.”
Gerry wore a navy blue suit while Theresa wore a leopard-print skirt with a ruffled white top. They both appeared happy and in love, and their photos together certainly quelled all the rumors of potential troubles in paradise.
