‘Ghosts’ Season 4 Ends With Fire, Fury, and One Hellish Guest—See the Promo

Ghosts Season 4 is soon to be “sucked off” into the sky as the final episode edges nearer. What has been perhaps the best season of the US remake of the UK series yet, Season 4, has produced endless laughs and a neat touch of heartwarming emotion as it ebbed and flowed between the stories of the titular spirits and Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar)‘s life in Woodstone B&B. Now, following the most recent penultimate Episode 21, “Kyle,” in which Superstore alum Ben Feldman made his debut, the official promo for the finale has been released and is available to watch below.

Richie Moriarty‘s Pete opens the promo by saying, “It’s going to be fun, and who doesn’t like fun,” with his sentiment acknowledged by a smiling and nodding Thor’s (Devan Chandler). However, Jay’s reveal of deviled eggs as part of the buffet for Sam and Isaac’s (Brandon Scott Jones) book launch launches the fear of Satan into the room, something emphasized by the episode’s title, “The Devil went Down to Woodstone.” The official synopsis for the episode reads, “Sam and Jay host a big party for the launch of Sam and Isaac’s vampire book.” Whatever happens in the episode, fans can expect something surprising, certainly if Sheila Carrasco (Flower) is to be believed. In her interview with Collider, she teased:

“The season finale is going to give you a huge surprise at the end, and it’s going to leave you nervous about the future of one or more residents. What I’ll say is that it’s not going to be like any other cliffhanger we’ve had, so I don’t want people thinking, ‘Oh, that means somebody could…’ It’s different and equally terrifying.”

What is the Fate of the ‘Ghosts’?

It is always sad to see a season of television end, especially for a show as beloved as Ghosts. Boasting a Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 86%, Season 4 of Ghosts has been a huge hit, with the blow of it coming to an end eased by the news that the show will be returning for not just one, but two further seasons. This announcement came back in February, many weeks before the thought of the Season 4 finale was even in any fan’s mind. This renewal won’t come as a surprise to many, especially considering that, at a time when network television struggles to maintain its usually high standards due to the move to streaming for many viewers, Ghosts is still averaging 11 million viewers across platforms when accounting for 35 days of viewing. With that in mind, viewers can enjoy the upcoming finale in peace, knowing that more spiritual chaos is on its way soon.

The Ghosts Season 4 finale will air on May 8, 2025. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates on your favorite shows.
