Another New Face Hits The CBS Soap
Y&R fans will get the first look at Cohen as Detective Burrow on Thursday, October 16. Soap Opera Digest confirmed the debut in their Comings and Goings section for this week.
As Soap Hub reported, details surrounding Cohen’s character are being kept close to the vest. The only thing we know so far is that Detective Burrow is involved in a major case that features a slew of core Y&R characters.
The Los Angeles storyline is kicking off with Holden (Nathan Owens), Claire (Hayley Erin), and Sharon (Sharon Case) all in town. Nick (Joshua Morrow) is headed there thanks to a frantic phone call from Sharon involving Noah (Lucas Adams), and so is Kyle (Michael Mealor) because of his Claire obsession.
Since the only thing going on in Genoa City right now is the Cane (Billy Flynn) AI storyline, it would make sense that Detective Burrow is connected to the Los Angeles crew. After all, Noah was just in a car accident there.
Only time will tell where Cohen’s character fits into the Y&R mix. Wherever it is, it’s giving the actor a chance to reunite with some of his former GH co-stars.
Erin played Kiki on GH, who just so happened to be involved with Cohen’s Griffin at one point.
Cohen is also reconnecting with Tamara Braun (Sienna), who played Kim Nero on the ABC soap when he was there. Braun already made her Y&R debut this week.
