Showing the love!
This week, Joan Vassos was announced as the very first Golden Bachelorette.
The historic news was followed by an outpouring of love and support from fans and her fellow Bachelor Nation stars.
Many of Joan’s fellow “Golden Bachelor” stars, like lead Gerry Turner, showed their support on Instagram after the news was shared.
Gerry wrote, “Dear Joan, Congratulations on being named the first ever Golden Bachelorette. You will be phenomenal as the new representative of a generation. From one Golden to another… relax, breathe, and enjoy. – Gerry”
Joan’s castmate Leslie Fhima shared a photo with Joan on her Story and wrote, “Happy for my friend Joan! First Golden Bachelorette!”
Jesse Palmer also shared his excitement over the news writing, “I CANNOT WAIT!”
And former Bachelorette Rachel Recchia said “SO EXCITED!” with yellow heart emojis.
Joan replied to all of the love on her Instagram Stories shortly after the announcement.
She wrote, “Positively overwhelmed by all of the love and support! From the bottom of my heart thank you all!”
