Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper

Montana Jordan found fame playing Georgie Cooper, the older brother of Sheldon Cooper, on Young Sheldon. He reprised the role in season 12 of The Big Bang Theory, when Sheldon (Jim Parsons) finds an old VHS tape of his younger self that was taped over by Georgie and their father, George Cooper Sr. (Lance Barber).

Now, Jordan delves deeper into the character on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. The actor previously shared with Entertainment Weekly how much he’s enjoyed watching Georgie go from being a “teenager messing around” to an adult with responsibilities and a family.

“In Young Sheldon, you got to see when he was a kid,” he explained, “and now you get to see him step up and be the father role and the man of the household.”

Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister

Emily Osment rose to fame as a child actress, with roles in multiple Spy Kids movies and the Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana (2006–2011), on which she played Miley’s bestie, Lilly.

Osment, the younger sister of actor Haley Joel Osment, went on to appear in a pair of Chuck Lorre sitcoms — Two and a Half Men (2013) and Mom (2015–2016) — as well as ABC Family’s Young & Hungry (2014–2018) and Netflix’s The Kominsky Method (2018–2021).

‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’ season 1 ending explained: Are Georgie and Mandy still married?

On Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Osment reprises her Young Sheldon role as Georgie’s much older wife, Mandy McAllister. A former weather forecaster, Mandy strives to return to her career while also juggling life as a wife and mom.

Osment and executive producer Steve Holland recently hinted that season 2 will explore Mandy’s complicated relationship with her ex-boyfriend-turned-boss Scott (Christopher Gorham). Addressing the chemistry still lingering between Scott and Mandy, Osment said the two need to “have a brutally honest conversation with each other” since they’re “still kind of avoiding some stuff.”

Rachel Bay Jones as Audrey McAllister

Rachel Bay Jones got her start in theater and has appeared in numerous Broadway productions. She’s perhaps best known for originating the role of Heidi Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, a performance that earned her a Tony, a Grammy, and a Daytime Emmy.

Onscreen, Jones has featured on shows like Grey’s Anatomy (2019), United States of Al (2021–2022), and The Good Doctor (2021–2022). Most recently, she shared the screen with John Leguizamo in the film Bob Trevino Likes It (2024).

Jones returns to Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage for season 2, reprising her role as Mandy’s snappy mom Audrey McAllister, who she also played on Young Sheldon. In a March 2025 interview with Closer Weekly, Jones admitted she loves tapping into Audrey’s “no filter” personality.

“She can be very sharp and cuts off people,” she said. “She says the things I would never say. It’s really fun for me to try to understand what would make somebody behave that way.”

Will Sasso as Jim McAllister

From the memorable characters he created on MADtv (1997–2009) to his spot-on take as Curly in The Three Stooges (2012), Will Sasso has made a career out of being a scene stealer. He’s also appeared on countless sitcoms over the years, including Less Than Perfect (2003–2006), Modern Family (2014–2017), and Mom (2019–2021).

Sasso is back for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2, playing Mandy’s big-hearted dad Jim McAllister. Ahead of season 2, Sasso spoke with TV Insider about Jim’s growing fondness of Georgie, who he sold his auto business to in the season 1 finale.

“I can’t wait to see what happens in season 2,” he said. “There’s a real definite bond between Jim and Georgie, and it’s not just because of the work thing. Jim does not want Georgie out of this family. There’s definitely a kinship between them [especially as] Georgie’s father, George Sr., isn’t around anymore.”

Dougie Baldwin as Connor McAllister

Dougie Baldwin has several credits to his name, but fans might know him best for starring with Kathy Bates on the marijuana-themed sitcom Disjointed (2017–2018), which, like Georgie & Mandy, was co-created by Chuck Lorre.

Baldwin returns in season 2, playing Mandy’s introverted younger brother, Connor McAllister. Details about his character’s storyline remain under wraps, but it’s likely the new episodes will spend more time exploring his relationship with Chloe Costa (Kara Arena).

Jessie Prez as Ruben

Prior to joining Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Jessie Prez appeared in episodes of Shameless (2019), 9-1-1: Lone Star (2022), and Abbott Elementary (2023).

Here, Prez plays Ruben, Georgie’s sarcastic coworker at Jim’s auto shop. The actor recently chatted with Numéro Netherlands, teasing that season 2 will offer viewers a glimpse at Ruben’s life beyond the garage.

“We get to see a lot more of Rubens’ world, not just who he is around Georgie, but who he is when the pressure is on,” Prez said. “In season 1, he was more of a rival, the guy stirring things up. But in season 2, we see him stepping into his own as a business partner, a friend, and even as a person figuring out what he wants out of life. There’s more heart, more humor, and a few moments that really show what makes him tick.”

Zoe Perry as Mary Cooper

The daughter of actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry, Zoe Perry plays Georgie and Sheldon’s mother Mary Cooper on both Young Sheldon and Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage. (Fun fact: Metcalf played the same role on The Big Bang Theory.)

According to showrunner Steven Molaro, Perry will reprise her role as the strict and overprotective matriarch in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2.

Raegan Revord as Missy Cooper

Raegan Revord first won fans over on Young Sheldon as Missy Cooper, Sheldon’s rebellious twin sister. Beyond the screen, though, Revord launched an online book club, Read with Raegan, and published their debut novel, Rules for Fake Girlfriends, in September 2025.

Revord returned as Missy in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 1, and Molaro told CBR that they’ll return for season 2, something he called “really exciting.”

Matt Letscher as Fred Fagenbacher

Matt Letscher has been a regular on TV and film since 1993, when he starred in both the celebrated war epic Gettysburg and an episode of Saved by the Bell: The College Years. How’s that for a pairing?

Since then, he’s helped lead a number of series, including The Carrie Diaries (2013–2014) and Narcos: Mexico (2018–2021). He also starred as Eobard Thawne, a.k.a. Reverse-Flash, on The Flash (2015–2023) and Legends of Tomorrow (2016–2022).

On Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Letscher plays Fred Fagenbacher, Audrey’s high school boyfriend who now runs the rival auto shop in town. Season 1 ended with him vowing to drive Georgie and the McAllister’s auto shop out of business.

Christopher Gorham as Scott

Christopher Gorham has been a small-screen staple for years, having played major roles on Popular (1999–2001), Ugly Betty (2006–2010), Covert Affairs (2010–2014), and the Netflix comedy Insatiable (2018–2019).

Plus, he’s also lent his voice to the Flash and Green Arrow in several DC animated films, the most recent being Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham (2023).

Gorham appeared in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 1 as Scott, Mandy’s ex-boyfriend who also happens to be her boss. Fans worried the actor wouldn’t return for season 2 since he landed a lead role on the upcoming CBS series Sheriff Country. However, a video shared to the show’s Instagram page seemed to confirm Scott will be back.
