The cast of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage is getting bigger!
The Young Sheldon spinoff is set to premiere later this year, and two more actors have been added to the cast.
Most notably, a character who first appeared in Young Sheldon has been recast for the upcoming new comedy.
According to TV Line, Dougie Baldwin has been cast in a series regular role, playing Connor, Mandy’s (Emily Osment) brother.
Connor is described as “a talented oddball with musical prowess who still lives with his parents. Coddled by his mother, Audrey, and hassled by his father, Jim, Connor doesn’t fit in — even in his own family.”
The character previously appeared once on Young Sheldon during season six, and he was played by Joe Apollonio.
Also joining the cast is Griselda‘s Jessie Prez, who will play Ruben, a long-time employee at McAllister’s tire store who’s less than enthusiastic about the shop’s newest hire, Jim’s son-in-law, Georgie (Montana Jordan).

It was recently revealed that Zoe Perry and Annie Potts will also guest star in the new series, appearing in the premiere episode, while Raegan Revord will reprise her role in episode two.
