Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2 set image features an all beaten-up Montana Jordan. After CBS’ cancelation of Young Sheldon, Chuck Lorre’s popular comedy franchise continues with the prequel’s follow-up spinoff that centers on George and Mary’s firstborn, as he raises his own family. Unexpectedly set-up with the introduction of Mandy, it is back in production for season 2.
With the crew and cast of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage now back on the set, updates from the production are pouring in. That includes a concerning image from executive producer, Steve Molaro, which features Montana Jordan’s Georgie with his lower lip cut and his eye bruised. Check out the photo below:
What Georgie’s Bloodied Face Means For First Marriage Season 2
Based on Jordan’s stance, it’s safe to say that Mandy’s father and Baby Cece’s dad will get into a brawl at some point in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2. Much of his arc in the show’s debut year revolved around balancing his responsibilities between his old and new families.
What makes this image so interesting is that Georgie is usually such a cool-headed guy. When Young Sheldon started, he had a temper, particularly when his school life was upended when Sheldon transferred to his class. Since then, however, he has grown tremendously, especially after becoming a father, followed by the death of George in Young Sheldon.
Otherwise, it’s also possible that Georgie’s brawl is with Mandy’s current boss and former romantic interest, Scott. If this is the case, then it’s safe to say that Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2 will present bigger challenges and problems that will test their marriage.
Our Take on Georgie’s Injuries Ahead Of First Marriage Season 2
Admittedly, while seeing Georgie bruised and injured is concerning, it’s an exciting way to continue developing the character. Personally, my biggest issue with him in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 1 was that he was too good and patient. It made it easy to vilify Mandy because she’s more open about her flaws.
With Georgie now running his tire shop with Ruben, the pressure to succeed is much more intense. This could make him more expressive in terms of his frustrations. Overall, this would make her a more dynamic and grounded lead character in Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.
