Tracy and Drew continue to feud and many General Hospital fans are team Tracy. They were even more so in the episode that aired on June 23 when she ‘read Drew for filth’
The feud between Tracy and Drew carried on in Monday’s episode (June 23) of General Hospital. Drew and his lawyer Martin tried to blackmail Tracy by getting her to publicly apologize for drugging him at a press conference they arranged so Drew could address the incident and the charges against Tracy. Tracy did not drug Drew but Drew put the blame on her to get Tracy in trouble and utilize it as blackmail material.
They also wanted her to to acknowledge him as a Quartermaine as well. At first Tracy began to go along with their plan by reading their written statement but when it came to saying, “Drew Quartermaine”, she couldn’t go on.
Tracy then said, blasting Drew at the press conference, “I can’t do it, I have to tell you the truth. He did take the drugs, He did plant them in my car. He is an embarrassment and a disgrace to my family. Just ask his nephew, whose marriage he destroyed. The congressman should be thrown out of office the same way his stepmother threw him out of the Quartermaine mansion.”
Fans were loving everyone word that Tracy said in the press conference and that Tracy said true to herself. On Twitter, one fan said, “TRACY JUST DRAGGED DREW THROUGH THE MUD.” A second commenter added, “Tracy chose violence & I couldn’t be happier. NO LIES DETECTED Bring Drew to his knees & then keep that foot on his neck.” Another said: “Tracy is a queen in every way and she stood on business like no other and I adore her.”
A fan said on the ABC daytime drama subreddit for Monday’s episode, in response to a question about what Tracy did, said, “She read Drew for filth at the press conference, called out his indiscretions to the public live on air lol.”
Drew was actually drugged by Portia and Nina so they could destroy his reputation. Drew eventually learned it was Portia and Nina’s doing but decided to frame Tracy instead. Drew thought he could use this to his advantage with Tracy by trying to humiliate her but also to fix his public image. But that backfired in today’s episode.Tracy has never really been a fan of Drew and has not considered him a part of him the Quartermaine family. The hate seemed to grow following the truth of Willow cheating on Michael with Drew. It also escalated when Drew tried to get the Quartermaine crypt bulldozed.
