General Hospital fans were pulling out the popcorn out as Carly Corinthos and Nina Reeves threw down in a heated catfight over their impending divorce trial.
During the latest explosive episode of General Hospital, tensions rose as Carly and Nina butt heads as they’re entangled in a messy custody battle over who should care for their grandkids. And while they are both desperate to keep their children far away from Drew Cain, they have very different ideas of what they want the outcome of the trial to be.In the latest update, Nina and Carly got into a screaming match over whether they believe Willow Tait is fit to be a mother. Inside Carly’s living room, Nina boldly claimed: “Willow is an excellent mother and a better person than you will ever be.”To which Carly hit back: “Willow is so blind she will never see how Drew influences her every breath. And even if she could see it, she’s too gutless to do anything about it except cry and blame everybody for everything that’s happened in her life. And she can’t even see how this relationship is hurting her kids. And for all we know, Drew is going to move Willow and those kids to D.C. permanently.”
Carly then shouted back: “Because they wouldn’t say it in front of you! Drew is going to do everything in his power to keep those kids away from Michael and his family. And Willow my god she’s just going to blindly follow him doing whatever she wants, not even noticing that it’s hurting the children. She doesn’t deserve those kids and she doesn’t deserve to be a mother.”
This was Nina’s final straw as she swiftly slapped Carly across the face. After recovering from the forceful blow, Carly hit Nina across the face with just as much force. This then lead to a full-on catfight as Nina then threw Carly across the couch where they continue to struggle and roll off onto the floor.
There, Nina holds Carly onto the ground and screams “you sanctimonious b—-h.” Carly then shoves her back and shouts: “Get off of me!” Nina then reaches for an object off her coffee table to hit Carly over the head with, but just in the knick of time, Josslyn Jacks bursts in through the front door and breaks up the fight.
After the brawl, General Hospital fans took to X, formerly Twitter, expressing their shock and amusement over the dramatic scene. One viewer wrote: “Not Carly and Nina turning General Hospital into WrestleMania with that catfight! When’s the last time we had claws out like this in Port Charles? Soap gold, baby.”
Another viewer added: “Grab the popcorn, watch on repeat, cuz THIS is delicious!” While a third fan chimed in: “I’ve been waiting a long time to see Carly kick Nina’s butt Carly did not disappoint.”
