Even though many Young Sheldon characters have already appeared on Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, Iain Armitage is perfectly happy waiting his turn — if it ever comes.
The actor recently opened up about the possibility of returning as Sheldon Cooper, sharing that he’d “love to” reunite with his onscreen family someday. Still, he emphasized that the spinoff doesn’t need his character to succeed.
Armitage praised the show’s cast and writers for giving the series its own personality, saying each entry in the Big Bang Theory universe has developed a distinct tone over time.
