From Glam to Grit: Jamie Dornan Dons Wool Jumper and Life Vest for Rugged Netflix Role

Jamie Dornan has been spotted filming a major new Netflix drama in the Scottish Highlands on Thursday.

The Northern Irish actor, 42, who plays identical twins Adam and Lee in the new series The Undertow, appeared in high spirits as he chatted to the crew on set.

He bundled up in a brown knitted jumper with a blue life vest over the top while filming scenes on board a creel fishing boat.

Jamie was later seen wearing a brown shirt and khaki green trousers, while shielding his eyes behind stylish shades.

The series is an English remake of a Norwegian crime drama titled Twin, and appears to have stayed relatively loyal to the earlier show’s premise.

The synopsis reads: ‘A split-second decision and a terrible accident drive Nicola to protect her children, and over one week, Lee and Nicola are forced together, struggling to maintain a web of secrets and lies.

‘Though they can’t ignore their feelings for each other, they both know they’re living on borrowed time.’

The Undertow cast also includes Mackenzie Davis, who plays Adam’s wife Nicola, as well as Iain De Caestecker and The Marvels star Gary Lewis.

Jeremy Lovering will direct and executive produce, while Jamie will executive produce in addition to starring.

The actor most recently starred in the thriller series “The Tourist,” with the second season of that show debuting in January.

Since his 2013 breakout role playing serial killer Paul Spector in BBC drama The Fall opposite Gillian Anderson, Dornan has starred in the Fifty Shades Of Grey trilogy with Dakota Johnson and Sir Kenneth Branagh’s critically acclaimed film Belfast.

It comes after Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie admitted he hated being a model.
