Forget high-stakes emergencies and dramatic crossovers—One Chicago’s leading ladies recently came together for something much more relaxing: a wine night to remember!
On February 3, Chicago P.D. star Marina Squerciati gave fans a peek into the fun-filled evening by sharing a collection of candid photos on Instagram. The snapshots showcased the women of Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med enjoying great wine, delicious food, and each other’s company.
“Great women. Great food. Great wine. Great night,” Squerciati captioned the post. She added that the photos were “blurry and not IG perfect”, emphasizing that it was all about friends having fun rather than a perfectly curated social media moment.
A Star-Studded Girls’ Night Out
The guest list was packed with One Chicago favorites. Among those at the gathering were Hanako Greensmith, Jessy Schram, S. Epatha Merkerson, Toya Turner, Sarah Ramos, Jocelyn Hudon, and Miranda Rae Mayo. Also in attendance were Reem Amara, longtime girlfriend of Chicago P.D. star Patrick John Flueger, and Ashley Cruger, wife of Chicago Fire’s Taylor Kinney.
Squerciati made sure to highlight some of the night’s best moments, calling out Hudon’s “photobomb energy”, Schram’s “tiny chair vibe”, and giving a special nod to Miranda Rae Mayo, simply because of her incredible presence.
The photos captured an evening filled with laughter, selfies, and shared memories, proving that the off-screen bonds between the One Chicago cast members are just as strong as their on-screen connections.
A Different Kind of One Chicago Crossover
While the One Chicago women were busy enjoying their off-screen crossover, fans were still reeling from the action-packed three-show event that aired on January 29. The crossover saw the characters of Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, and Chicago Med thrown into a high-stakes, movie-like storyline.
“One of the themes running throughout this crossover is the couples that we have on the show and their relationships being tested and tried throughout,” Chicago Fire showrunner Andrea Newman told NBC Insider.
The event featured some of the franchise’s biggest names facing life-and-death scenarios, such as Stella Kidd being trapped in a train with Adam Ruzek while Kelly Severide desperately tried to find a way to rescue her.
“It’s really all one big episode,” Newman explained. “It’s one big movie, is what it is. The writing process for these things is quite extensive.”
Friendship Beyond the Screen
While their on-screen counterparts deal with intense emergencies, it’s clear that the One Chicago actresses share genuine friendships off-screen. Their wine night was a heartwarming reminder that, despite the chaotic drama of their TV world, they know how to kick back, relax, and enjoy each other’s company.
Fans love seeing the cast bond in real life, and moments like this only make the One Chicago community feel even more connected. Whether they’re saving lives on-screen or sharing laughs over wine, these incredible women are the heart of the franchise.
