Gabriela Dawson actress Monica Raymund would consider returning to Chicago Fire.
She left the role just last year after six seasons as a series regular and two as a guest star, but “there’s always an open door” to return to the show according to the actress, who spoke to TV Line recently.
“Look, I love the Wolf boys, and Wolf Films has been such a huge part of my life for many years. I have a lot of respect for them. So I don’t know,” she mused when asked about a possible reappearance.
“I think it’s an open-ended question, if the conversations happen. But there’s always an open door with Gabby, and I think that’s the way it should be.”
With directing credits on the likes of Law & Order: SVU and FBI, would she ever move behind the camera for an episode of Chicago Fire?
“I don’t know, actually,” she responded. “I’m open to it. It might be like too much of a party. [Laughs] I might not be able to focus. I’d just want to hang out with my friends.”
But it sounds like the hardest part for the star would be finding time to return.
Raymund plays the lead character Jackie Quiñones in Starz’ forthcoming crime drama Hightown, premiering this Sunday (May 17) in the US.
