Fire Country star Jules Latimer (Eve) is getting real about Season 4 as fans struggle with the show killing off Vince (Billy Burke).
Latimer got raw and vulnerable in a social media message to Fire Country fans, while also relating the loss to things in the world right now.
In an Instagram post, Latimer shared a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos from Fire Country Season 4, including one with Jordan Calloway (Jake) at Vince’s funeral, as well as a shot of her keeping herself entertained between scenes.
The post also featured photos from the second episode, including one of Diane Farr (Sharon) seated, and another of Latimer taking a selfie with fellow cast members, among them Leven Rambin (Audrey).
Fire Country Star Jules Latimer’s Message to Fans
“Hey good people, I hope you’ve tuned into the first episode of @firecountrycbs . It was hard to let go of two members of our fire family who made this show what it is. There’s a lot of loss going on in this world and I can imagine how difficult it was for our STAN’s to tune in. One thing about what we’re doing this season that I know we’re all excited to share with you is how we move through uncertainty and what feels like starting over again,” she wrote, adressing the changes.
The actress went to share just what these changes mean for her, while letting fans know that they’re all in this together.
“What I’ve deduced so far is we need each other (community) more than ever. This season you’ll see all of these characters fight in every episode to figure out how the hell we move forward,” she wrote, explaining that the cast and characters are “on this journey with you.”
“In life and in fiction. One day at a time trying our best and asking for help along the way. I love my @firecountrycbs family and look forward to sharing tonight’s episode with y’all. I hope you join us,” Latimer ended her caption.
Rambin showed up in the comments to show her love for her co-star. Latimer isn’t the only star speaking out to fans amid the cast shake-up, as Farr previously sent a direct and powerful message to fans who are “angry” over Vince’s death.
Fire Country Season 4 Changes So Far
We’re only two episodes into the new season, but it’s obvious that life at Station 42 will never be the same. Not only did Vince die, but Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) left town.
There’s a new battalion chief, Brett Richards (Shawn Hatosy), who is shaking things up at the station and is nothing like his predecessor, Vince.
Ahead of Season 4, one of Fire Country‘s creators, Joan Rater, warned that the new guy was going to break people, especially Bode (Max Thieriot).
In the second episode, it was revealed that 3 Rock may be done for good, which is a major change for the show. After all, it all started with Bode being sent to 3 Rock, which ultimately reunited him with his family.
Season 4 has only just begun, so fans should expect more excitement and changes as our favorite characters embark on this new journey.
