CBS is stoking the flames once again with Fire Country, its high-intensity drama about an ex-convict seeking redemption as a firefighter with Cal Fire (the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection).
Created by Tony Phelan, Joan Rater, and series star Max Thieriot, the show has completed three seasons since premiering in 2022. Now, as Season 4 gets underway, Fire Country is undergoing some major changes.
Those shifts are partly driven by the Season 3 finale, which saw the death of Vince Leone—played by Billy Burke—Bode’s father and Cal Fire’s respected battalion chief. Meanwhile, Stephanie Arcila will scale back her role as Gabriela Perez, returning only as a guest star this season.
