FBI Tuesday Preview: The Big Return marks a new night of action

FBI Tuesday is back in a big way this week.

After a few weeks off, all three FBI programs continued normally with some major developments.

The biggest is Missy Peregrym’s long-awaited return to the FBI, although the question is whether Maggie is truly up for duty.

In FBI: International, Vo once again needs to help an old friend out of a sticky situation while Forrester goes on a separate mission.

Finally, the FBI: Most Wanted team delves into a strange industry to find a dangerous murderer.

It adds up to a week of great new TV to keep fans entertained after a short break.

How did FBI’s Sunday special rate?

While FBI Tuesdays have been off for a few weeks, parent FBI had a special episode on Sunday, November 6.

The timing is because all regular CBS coverage was suspended on Tuesday for coverage of the US midterm elections.

FBI also got a “bonus” episode, as Episode 3 was actually the delayed Season 4 finale.

While there was some waiting due to long NFL games, the show performed well after 60 minutes with 6.6 million viewers and a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demo.

It’s a big plot twist as the team investigates the kidnapping of a young boy whose mother turns out to be a CIA agent blackmailed into revealing the source.

Nina risked her life to help rescue the mother and child. However, she surprises the group by announcing that she is leaving to join the white-collar crime team.

The reason is that Nina is pregnant with Scola’s child. She told him she needed time to figure out her next move as they tearfully parted ways.

This was the reason for writing Shantel VanSanten, who replaced her when Missy Peregrym was on maternity leave.

Now, this week’s FBI will deliver the return fans have been waiting for.

What will happen this FBI Tuesday?

Of course, the biggest story is the FBI as Ready Or Not has Maggie finally returned to duty after nearly being killed in a sarin gas attack.

While she seems ready to go, OA must question whether Maggie is truly ready to take on the mission again.

“Maggie returns from leave to help the team investigate two murders: a law student preparing to attend the FBI Academy and a young man with possible gang ties. Additionally, an accidental revelation from Maggie makes OA worry that she will return to work too quickly.”

OA has had her own problems with her temper and is recovering from a mugging. So he knows what it feels like for someone to be in denial about a near-death experience and is concerned that Maggie might rush into things too soon.

Meanwhile, Scola hasn’t told anyone about Nina’s pregnancy yet, but there’s a chance that him becoming a father could distract everyone.

In FBI: International, Vo helps a friend in distress while Forrester is taking care of a local mob threatening a neighbor in Call It Anarchy.

“Vo’s friends from the US Navy called for help finding her missing nephew in Crete. Meanwhile, Forrester returned to Budapest to deal with personal matters.

The last time a friend of Vo’s needed help, things got worse, so hopefully things will get a little better. Meanwhile, Forrester’s concerns about the local mob could get him into trouble.

Finally, FBI: Most Wanted has a patent pending, sending the team on a bizarre hunt.

“After a tech entrepreneur is kidnapped during a wild party in Brooklyn and bludgeoned to death at his Connecticut mansion, Remy and his team must plunge into the world of illusion to find out who killed him.”

While there’s no promo for the episode yet, it seems like this is a complicated case for the team and may be more complicated than it seems.

With a big return marking a big evening, FBI Tuesday is ready to make up for the delay with some good stories.
