Paramount+ has officially confirmed that the documentary series FBI True will return with Season 6 on January 14, 2025. The show continues to capture attention by revisiting real-life cases, told directly by the FBI agents who were involved in the investigations.
Unlike fictional crime dramas, FBI True places authenticity at the forefront. Agents sit together to share their personal experiences, combined with rare archival materials such as interrogation videos, crime scene footage, and never-before-seen case files. This unique storytelling approach gives viewers the sense of “sitting inside the FBI briefing room” and following each case from the inside.
Season 6 will feature 12 episodes, each focusing on a high-profile case. Viewers will be taken through headline-making stories such as the “Pizza Bomber” case—where a pizza delivery man was forced to wear a bomb and rob a bank—the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Annie Le, the assassination of fashion designer Gianni Versace in Miami, and two special episodes on the white supremacist extremist group “The Base.”
What makes FBI True stand out is its ability to transform cold case files into powerful, emotional stories. Audiences not only witness the tense process of solving crimes but also gain insight into the pressures, fears, and determination of the agents who risked their lives on the front lines.
Beyond its gripping storytelling, the series also touches on pressing modern issues: terrorism, extremism, cybercrime, and white supremacy. This allows FBI True to move beyond being a standard documentary series, becoming instead a bridge between entertainment and public awareness.
With its Season 6 return, FBI True once again proves its appeal by delivering stories that are “stranger than fiction,” leaving viewers both on the edge of their seats and reflecting on the real threats that continue to shape today’s world.
