Who is Jessica Blake on FBI? Keep reading for all the details on Charlotte Sullivan’s new FBI character and her reunion with Missy Peregrym.

Peregrym and Sullivan both starred on the Global/ABC police procedural Rookie Blue. The series ran for six seasons from 2010 to 2015. It followed the lives of five rookie police officers at the fictional 15 Division who have just graduated from the academy. The officers must learn to deal with not only their duties as police officers, but also the problems and expectations of family, friends, and romantic attachments at the office. Peregrym starred as protagonist Andrea “Andy” McNally, while Sullivan portrayed Andy’s best friend Gail Peck.

A few years after the series wrapped, Peregrym landed the lead role on CBS’ FBI as Special Agent Maggie Bell. Meanwhile, Sullivan went on to have a recurring role on Season 5 of Chicago Fire as Anna Turner and a recurring role on the first season of Law & Order: Organized Crime. Now, nearly a decade later, Sullivan and Peregrym are reuniting on-screen for the first time since Rookie Blue ended.

Who is Jessica Blake on FBI? Charlotte Sullivan will make her FBI debut as Jessica Blake in the upcoming Season 6 episode “Creating a Monster,” which will air on March 12, 2024. Jessica is a former colleague of Maggie’s and a mom, who will have a multi-episode arc that leads Maggie herself to mull over the idea of motherhood.

“Maggie is great friends with Jessica and her daughter,” Peregrym told TVLine ahead of the episode. “They’ve known each other since Quantico, but their paths cross professionally as their tasks intersect.”

Peregrym continued: “I am thrilled that Charlotte joined our team to play Jessica. As usual, her talent and heart on- and off-screen have added to our show. After years apart from filming Rookie Blue together, it felt like seconds when we got back together. I definitely called her ‘Gail’ accidentally!”

Elsewhere in Jessica’s debut episode, the team will investigate the execution-style murder of a federal judge, leading them to a suspect with ties to a local Islamic center. Tension will also arise between OA (Zeeko Zaki) and his new girlfriend Gemma in the aftermath of her friend’s death.

In addition to Sullivan’s roles on Rookie Blue, Law & Order: Organized Crime and Chicago Fire, the actresses’ credits also include CBS’ So Help Me Todd and Blue Bloods, as well as Mary Kills People, the Murdoch Mysteries and The Kennedys.

FBI airs on CBS on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST and streams on Paramount+.
