FBI: International Signed Off, But Left These 6 Major Questions Unanswered

The FBI: International series finale left us with these 6 major questions
The FBI: International season 4 finale was not set up to be a series finale.

“They Paid More” – When a bus full of American volunteers is hijacked in a dangerous section of Morocco, the Fly Team works to locate the missing aid workers and the people who kidnapped them, on FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Dec. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Enemy of the State | Law & Order

Over the course of four seasons, we watched the Fly Team travel around Europe to take down some of the most dangerous criminals. FBI: International left us with some burning questions in a season finale that was definitely not set up to be a series finale.

There’s no debate over how disappointing the FBI: International series finale was. To make matters worse, there was some time to change things a little. One of the cliffhangers didn’t need to happen, and yet nobody seemed to think that fans needed closure. Now we’re left with questions that we need either the flagship series or the new CIA spinoff to answer in the fall.

Gaijin
“Gaijin” – The Fly Team discovers they’re on the trail of a serial killer, taking the investigation, and Mitchell, to Japan to put an end to the international killing spree, on part two of the two-part series finale of FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, May 20 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Who got the GS-14 promotion in FBI: International?
When Wes said that both Raines and Vo were up for the GS-14 promotion, we had questions about which one would get it. At least with the show coming to an end, we wouldn’t need to see one of the two remaining OG characters leave the series. However, we did hope to get some answers.

In the end, the episode left us not finding out. The camera cut to Vo and Raines holding hands, indicting that they were in for the answers together. So, who got the promotion?

The Kill Floor
“The Kill Floor” – A member of the Fly Team goes missing as the hunt for Greg Csonka continues in Paris. Meanwhile, Vo’s life hangs in the balance after being shot, on FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Jan. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*. Who would come in to the Fly Team?
With either Raines or Vo leaving, it would mean that someone new would come into the Fly Team. Who would that be? Would the FBI end up sending someone else to the team? After all, let’s remember that a lot of government organizations are going through budget cuts right now, and that is often shown in a TV series.

Maybe without one of the OG members, there would be more time spent on Amanda or Smitty. There’s always the other two members of Amanda’s team. Of course, the series seemed like it was setting up for Tyler to join the Fly Team permanently if FBI: International season 5 had happened.

You’ve Been Greenlit
“You’ve Been Greenlit” – When an American businessman is gunned down in Bratislava, the Fly Team must work with an unscrupulous local detective while safeguarding the sole witness, a fearful tourist from Wisconsin being held by police. Meanwhile, Quinn begins to feel pressure from her brother to deliver information on Mitchell, on FBI: INTERNATIONAL, Tuesday, Feb. 25 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME
Would Wes be able to support his half-sister?
At the end of the FBI: International series finale, Wes decided to visit his half-sister. It was a huge moment, as it showed that he now believed Dean was telling the truth. Delilah clearly wanted to meet her brother, but she didn’t think it would happen.

What type of support could he offer her, though? He’s halfway around the world, and he’s constantly traveling for his work. It would end up being limited to FaceTime cal
