The FBI cast help one another solve crimes on-screen, but they share parenting stories off-screen.
The CBS procedural show follows members of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation as they investigate crimes in the city. It features Missy Peregrym, Jeremy Sisto and Alana De La Garza, among others.
While the series involves plenty of drama, several castmates are happily married with children. Peregrym shares two kids with her husband, Tom Oakley, and Sisto has shares two with his wife, Addie Lane, as well.
Speaking to Yahoo Entertainment in April 2024, Peregrym shared that the FBI production team made her feel “supported with time” after she took two leaves of absence from the show to have her children.
“The cast and crew were so helpful to me, especially other parents who understood the difficult balance,” she said. “I will say, there’s a lot of laughter sharing stories of who slept less and comparing who has it harder in that moment!”
Here’s everything to know about the kids of the FBI cast.
1. Missy Peregrym’s 2 children
Peregrym, who portrays FBI Special Agent Maggie Bell, and Oakley welcomed their first child together, son Otis, on March 21, 2020. Two years later, the pair expanded their family with daughter Mela, who was born on June 6, 2022.
The actress brought both of her children to the FBI set while she was breastfeeding. Since then, Peregrym has mentioned her hopes of bringing them along more often as they grow older.
“My 2-year-old Otis tries to come to work with me every day,” she told TheWrap in April 2024. “He tells me, ‘I don’t want to go to school. I gotta come to work.’ … I don’t have anybody to look after him [on set] and he says, ‘I’ll be brave.’ “
2. Jeremy Sisto’s 2 kids
Sisto, who plays Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine, shares two children with his wife, Lane: daughter Charlie, who was born in June 2009, and son Bastian, who was born in March 2012.
During an appearance on The Rachel Ray Show in October 2022, Sisto opened up about his daughter deciding to go by her mom’s last name.
“I think it’s because she’s got a really cool last name. My wife’s name is Addie Lane,” he said. “Charlie Lane, it makes you immortal. You’re a street name. And it could also be because she’s embarrassed of me.”
The actor also revealed that Charlie has expressed interest in following in his footsteps. “She’s got really into Stranger Things, and it was the first time she was like, ‘Maybe I’ll do acting,’ ” he recalled.
As for Bastian, Sisto told PEOPLE in November 2019 that his role in Frozen 2 earned him some respect from his son.
“My son did turn to me, he’s 7, and said, ‘We’re lucky that you get to do this stuff and we get to come,’ ” the actor recounted his son telling him at the premiere. “And I was like wow, a moment of appreciation for things. What a really nice moment.”
3. Alana De La Garza’s 2 children
De La Garza, who portrays Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille, shares two kids with her husband, Michael Roberts. They welcomed their son Kieran in September 2010 and their daughter Liv in July 2013.
After Liv’s birth, De La Garza told PEOPLE that her family now felt “complete.”
“I love seeing my son with a look of adoration at his new ‘baby sista.’ I love seeing my husband cuddle our children, and I love looking at my kids and feeling like our family is complete,” she said.
The actress also shared that being a mother is “the most challenging role I’ll ever have” and the most important.
“In life, the most important thing to me is family. Everything else comes and goes, but your family stays — changing and evolving — but they are permanent,” she added.
4. John Boyd’s 3 kids
John Boyd, who plays FBI Special Agent Stuart Scola, shares three children with his wife, Nicole Vicius.
The pair largely keeps their family life out of the spotlight and has chosen not to reveal the birthdates or names of their kids.
However, the actor has confirmed he has two daughters and a son through posts on his Instagram.
5. Taylor Anthony Miller’s 2 children
Taylor Anthony Miller, who portrays FBI analyst Kelly Moran, and his wife, Rachel, have two children together.
According to the actor’s website, the couple is raising their son and daughter in N.Y. While Miller hasn’t revealed the name of his daughter, his son is named Jack, per his Instagram.
