A new face is joining the world of “Yellowstone.”
Oscar-nominated actress Annette Bening, 67, is set to star in the upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoff series, People confirmed Monday, Aug. 25.
The series, which the outlet reported has the working title “The Dutton Ranch,” will follow Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) after the events of the hit western drama that aired on Paramount from 2018 to 2024.
Bening will reportedly portray Beulah Jackson, a new character described as the “powerful, cunning and charming head of a major ranch in Texas.”
The Post has reached out to Bening’s rep for comment.
Deadline first reported in December 2024 that a “Yellowstone” spinoff series starring Reilly, 48, and Hauser, 50, was in the works.
The outlet added that several additional cast members from the original series, including Finn Little as Beth and Rip’s adopted son, Carter, are set to make appearances alongside the leading pair.
“Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are grateful for the peace they sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch,” an official logline for “The Dutton Ranch” reads.
“With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter becomes the man he’s supposed to be,” it adds.
“Yellowstone” creator Taylor Sheridan will return to executive produce the new spinoff series, and Chad Feehan will reportedly serve as showrunner.
Hauser, following the conclusion of “Yellowstone” this past December, opened up about his desire to continue Rip’s story.
“I think America has spoken,” he told People at the time. “They still love the show.”
“There’s obviously just tons of people that every Sunday get together with their families, and we give them the experience of taking ’em out of their own living rooms and putting ’em in Montana and entertaining them,” Hauser added. “And I think ultimately it’s just that simple.”
The “Dazed and Confused” actor, however, remained tight-lipped about how his character might return to the world of “Yellowstone” following the show’s series finale.
“We will see what happens over the next year or so, and we’ll see what’s next,” he teased. “Hopefully, we can continue to get in people’s living rooms and entertain them the way we have over the last seven years.”

“Yellowstone” centers on the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in Montana.
It follows patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who was also the governor before his suspicious death, his adult children — Kayce (Luke Grimes), Jamie (Wes Bentley), and Beth — and Beth’s husband, Rip.
Costner, however, left the popular series after the first half of Season 5 amid rumors of a feud with Sheridan.
The show dealt with Costner’s sudden absence by killing his character off in a hit man attack that is initially staged to look like a suicide.
