EXCLUSIVE: ‘Chicago P.D.’ Insider Brian Luce Takes the Mic as Host of ‘One Chicago Podcast’

The official “One Chicago Podcast” has found its host. Brian Luce, “Chicago P.D.” producer, techincal consultant and former Chicago police officer, will lead the weekly discussions around “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago Med” and “Chicago P.D.”

The podcast will consist of 28 episodes, rolled out weekly and will feature interviews with cast members including Jason Beghe and David Eigenberg, as well as writers, showrunners and crew members.

Luce joined the “Chicago P.D.” crew in Season 1 as a technical consultant and script consultant, and became a producer in 2017. He spent 27 years in law enforcement, including 18 years as an undercover officer with the Chicago Police Department.

Per the release, the podcast will “take listeners behind the scenes of Universal Television, Wolf Entertainment and NBC’s hit One Chicago brand featuring candid in-depth conversations with the cast and crew who are integral in bringing the shows to life.”

The first two episodes will drop on Thursday, Sept. 18, two weeks ahead of prmeiere. After the Oct. 1 premiere of “One Chicago” on NBC, new episodes will debut every Thursday on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all other podcast platforms. Additionally, video versions of select episodes will be published on NBC’s One Chicago YouTube channel.

The “One Chicago Podcast” is produced by Wolf Entertainment and USG Audio. Production for the podcast is by Spoke Media, and distribution and monetization by Realm.
