A Dad’s Dilemma
Finding out he’s the father of Sophia’s (Rachel Boyd) baby has hit Aaron (Louis Tomeo) hard. “I didn’t even know that the kid was mine,” Aaron opens up to his longtime best friend, Tate (Leo Howard). “Now I literally just signed away all my rights.” Might Aaron be having second thoughts about his decision?
A Home for Tesoro
Meanwhile, that baby has finally found his forever home. Belle (Martha) informs her clients, Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel (Raven Bowens), that their adoption is official. “You two are now the parents of baby Tesoro,” proclaims Belle.
The new parents are ecstatic to finally start a family. However, Leo (Greg Rikaart), Javi (Al Calderon), Ari (Marissa Reyes), and Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) are sad to see the child that’s been in their care for months leave their home and their lives.
Johnny and Chanel immediately bestow a new name on their son. “You are hereby known as Tre,” says Johnny. “Tre, meaning the third, as in John the third.” The little boy’s name pays homage to the late John Black (See what else happens with the adoption story in the DAYS weekly spoilers).
Tragedy Looming
Susan (Stacy Haiduk) finds Stephanie (Abigail Klein) in the square and delivers a dire warning. “There you are,” Susan cries out as she rushes toward her.
“What is going to happen?” asks a concerned Stephanie. Susan braces her for the worst and announces, “Something tragic.”
Plotting Payback
Rachel (Alice Halsey) continues to exert her influence over Thomas (Cary Christopher, who recently guest-starred on NBC’s Chicago Med), and not in a good way. “Someone needs to make her pay for what she did,” Rachel tells Thomas, referring to Cat (AnnaLynne McCord).
So the two concoct a plan to take her down. However, Chad (Billy Flynn) races to Cat’s rescue. “Look out!” yells Chad, pushing Cat out of the way of danger, when a large pumpkin comes flying in her direction
Child in Peril
Chad sees Thomas nearby and quickly puts two and two together. “You were aiming at Cat, weren’t you?” Chad asks his son. Thomas doesn’t seem too sorry. In fact, he seems angrier than ever. “All you care about is her,” he shouts back at his father.
“Thomas, that’s not what…” Chad begins to explain, just as Thomas runs off. Suddenly, there’s the sound of tires screeching. Chad and Jennifer look on in horror, and Jennifer lets out a scream. “Thomas,” cries out Chad, fearing for the life of his only son.
