Eamonn Walker portrayed Wallace Boden since Chicago Fire premiered in 2012. And though Walker announced he was exiting the show as a series regular after Season 12, after twelve seasons of playing such a beloved character, it’s no wonder he’s become such a fan favorite. And the more people have seen of Walker and Boden, the more they want to know both about the character and about the actor who plays him. So, who is Eamonn Walker’s wife and who is Chicago Fire’s Boden married to in real life?
Eamonn Walker’s Wife & Who Chicago Fire’s Boden Is Married to in Real Life
Walker has been married to his wife Sandra Walker for decades, though it is unknown exactly when they married. The couple has three kids together, a pair of twins: Jahdine and Deke Roderique-Walker, and a youngest son, Kane. The actor doesn’t have an official social media account, but his wife occasionally shares pictures of the two of them together.
The actor grew up in London but comes from a very diverse background, a Grenadian father and a Trinidadian mother. His wife, Sandra, meanwhile, is from Scotland and studied at the Glasgow School of Art. She is an artist who shares her pen and ink drawings on her art Instagram page, and has even shared a drawing of her husband on that very same account, simply titled “The Man.”
Walker is very private, so there isn’t much information about his family, but it is known that he and Sandra have at least 3 grandkids. Deke Roderique-Walker is the father of Milan and Paris, and Jahdine has a son called Cory.
Chicago Fire is NBC’s drama series that follows the professional and personal lives of firefighters, rescue personnel, and paramedics of the Chicago Fire Department’s fictional Firehouse 51. Walker started as Battalion Chief of Battalion 25 on the show before being promoted to Deputy District Chief in Season 10. At the end of Season 12, Boden accepts the role of Deputy Fire Commissioner, which is why Walker won’t be returning to Chicago Fire as a series regular for Season 12. He is still expected to appear in the show in some capacity, though exactly how much of a presence he will be going forward is still unknown.
A new Chief, called Dom Pascal, will take his place at Firehouse 51.
In the show, Chief Boden is also married. He was married before Chicago Fire began, to a woman named Shonda, and he had a stepson named Jimmy. That relationship, however, didn’t last. By the time the show starts, Boden is single and in Season 2, the show introduces Donna Robbins (Melissa Ponzio). After a whirlwind romance, the two get married at the end of the season and are still married at the end of Season 12. They have a son named Terrance.
