Donnie Wahlberg Calls His Romantic Journey ‘Blessed’ as He Reaches Sweet Milestone

Donnie Wahlberg, who will reprise his fan-favorite role as Danny Reagan in Blue Bloods in the upcoming spinoff Boston Blue, celebrated his 11th wedding anniversary with wife Jenny McCarthy on Aug. 31 with an adorable tribute to their love.

The TV actor shared a sweet video of himself with McCarthy sitting down at what appeared to be a restaurant. McCarthy held up a sign that read, “Happy Anniversary!” before the two shared several kisses.

In the message that accompanied the video, Wahlberg wrote, “The most important word, of the two words #HappyAnniversary, is ‘happy’. We are so happy. So grateful. So blessed.”

“Thanks to all those who have wished us well, and to all those who have been there to support us, through these eleven magical years,” he concluded, before signing off with, “Mr & Mrs Wahlberg.”

Fans Shared Some Love for the Longtime Couple

Fans shared support for Wahlberg and McCarthy in the comments, writing things like, “Happy anniversary you two!! Love y’all to pieces!” and “Aww, your love is beautiful! Happy Anniversary, love birds!”

“Here’s to 11 years, wishes for many more. My love to you both,” commented a third fan.

Who Is Wahlberg Married To?

Wahlberg’s wife McCarthy is an actress and model known for roles in projects like Scream 3, Dirty Love, Two and a Half Men, and more. McCarthy and her husband first met on an episode of Watch What Happens Live in 2012.

The next year, Wahlberg appeared on McCarthy’s talk show, The Jenny McCarthy Show, and soon after, they started dating. The couple got engaged in April 2014, and on Aug. 31, 2014, they tied the knot in St. Charles, Ill.

Over the years, the couple has continued to show off their love and support for one another. In 2015, they even launched a reality TV show, Donnie Loves Jenny, which ran for three seasons.

What Is Wahlberg Doing Now?

While Wahlberg’s personal life with McCarthy appears to be going well, he is also enjoying a successful career in the entertainment industry.

Although Wahlberg’s longtime TV drama Blue Bloods came to an end in December of last year, the 56-year-old is currently working on the upcoming spinoff series called Boston Blue that centers around his character.

The show is also set to star Maggie Lawson, Gloria Reuben, Ernie Hudson, Mika Amonsen, Marcus Scribner and more. Blue Bloods star Bridget Moynahan is confirmed to reprise her role as Wahlberg’s character’s sister, Erin Reagan, in the premiere episode, but fans hope to see other familiar faces from the original series as well.
