Joan Vassos has not had a suitor self-eliminate from her season of ‘The Golden Bachelorette’ yet, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.
Joan Vassos has spent the last few weeks methodically and carefully eliminating potential suitors as she tries to find her next great love on The Golden Bachelorette. While there have been allegations against a couple of contestants, Vassos has met mostly wholesome men. In fact, she has so many good options that fans are always left upset by who is sent home. Vassos’ inaugural season of The Golden Bachelorette is unique. So far, she’s had no contestants self-eliminate, but the competition is still young.
No one has self-eliminated yet
Joan Vassos’ hasn’t had a contestant self-eliminate from her season just yet, but a family tragedy almost led to one contestant walking away from the show. During the most recent episode of the series, Chock Chapple tearily told Joan Vassos he had to go home after his mother died from cancer while he was competing for her love.
Vassos, who self-eliminated from The Golden Bachelor, told Chock to head home and help his family. While she understood his reasons, she was sad to see him go. Vassos noted she would always wonder what could have been if he didn’t return.
It initially looked like Chock would be self-elminating from the competition, but it ended well enough. He did return later in the episode, meaning there has yet to be a self-elimination in Joan Vassos’ season of The Golden Bachelorette. That doesn’t mean it won’t happen, though.
Rumors suggest one ‘The Golden Bachelorette’ contestant self-eliminates late in the competition
While no one has self-eliminated from Joan’s season of The Golden Bachelorette just yet, there are rumors that at least one contestant will opt to head home on their own. According to Reality Steve, Pascal Ibgui self-eliminates from the competition when he reaches the final two. The content creator alleges that Pascal left the competition because he wasn’t in love with Joan.
While Reality Steve is often correct in his predictions, he has gotten it wrong before. In fact, he’s changed his stance on who wins Joan Vassos’ heart at least once since publishing his initial thoughts. Several fan favorites are still in the competition, so anything could happen.
While Bachelor Nation spoilers have been wrong before, many viewers hope the rumors about Pascal are true. While Joan seems to like Pascal, fans of the series have spent weeks talking about him, and very little of it is good. Several fans have taken to Reddit to sound off about the salon owner and his pathological need to throw around his wealth. Some viewers have called him obnoxious and rude. Google reviews for his Chicago-based Salon aren’t stellar, either.
