“Digital Suzanne Somers Could Star in New Three’s Company—Husband Says She’d Approve”

Nearly two years after Suzanne Somers’ death in October 2023, the beloved Three’s Company star is making a surprising return — through artificial intelligence.

Her husband of 55 years, Alan Hamel, recently unveiled an AI-powered “digital twin” of Somers during a public demonstration in Laguna Beach, California. Developed in partnership with Hollo.AI and robotics company Realbotix, the lifelike creation perfectly mimics Somers’ voice, mannerisms, and signature blonde look, drawing from decades of footage and audio recordings.

“Meeting you was like a breath of fresh air,” the replica told Hamel, 88, as they shared a heartfelt exchange before an audience.

Hamel revealed to The Post that the idea wasn’t new. “About 35 or 40 years ago, Suzanne said, ‘I would really feel good about having a Suzanne Somers AI twin representing me,’” he recalled.

The project came together in just a few days, with Realbotix capturing her speech patterns and inflections in uncanny detail. The AI can recall moments from Somers’ 50-year career, as well as personal memories from their nearly half-century marriage — including a playful cooking segment the couple once filmed together.

Hamel insists the concept originated with Somers herself, noting her awareness that her life might be shortened by her long battle with cancer. “I think she would smile a lot and be really happy about it,” he said. “She would endorse it. My family is happy about it.”

But Hamel’s ambitions for the AI extend far beyond private conversations. He plans to pitch the digital Somers to the distributor of Three’s Company, with hopes of producing new episodes — even envisioning an AI recreation of her late co-star John Ritter.

“One of these days the world will see Suzanne Somers again,” Hamel promised.
