Days of Our Lives Weekly Preview: Theo’s Return and Tesoro’s Adoption Take Center Stage

Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of September 8-12, 2025 tease an unexpected return and a possible adoption battle.

Chad and Cat’s Relationship Rocks Salem

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) are finally pursuing a relationship after months of friendship and flirtatious encounters. While some in Salem will be happy to see them together, like Felicity (Kennedy Garcia) and Thomas (Cary Christopher), there’s several Salemites who will be unhappy with this newfound relationship.

With Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves, who recently touched on her character’s epic love story) back home, they’re about to receive some unsettling news on Monday, and odds are it’s about their former son-in-law’s new relationship. This will leave Cat apologizing to her boyfriend, while EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) shares his thoughts on Chad’s feelings for Cat on Tuesday.

Theo’s Back

Mid-week brings the return of a Salemite we haven’t seen in years: Theo. Now played by Tyler Joseph Andrews, the son of Abe (James Reynolds) is coming home after recently breaking up with his long-time girlfriend, Claire. What will Their get up to now that he’s back in Salem, and why does he seek support from his dad and Paulina (Jackée Harry) come Thursday?

Odds and Ends

Meanwhile, Thursday finds Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) being on the same page about adopting Tesoro, while while Chanel (Raven Bowens) tells Johnny (Carson Boatman) she’s ready to try starting their family again. Could a battle of the adoptive parents be on the way in Salem?

As for The Kiriakises, just as Xander (Paul Telfer) and Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) kick off the week with some brotherly bonding, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) continues with her plan to take the brothers down.
