It’s All Strange Vibes
The action in this Days of Our Lives spoilers video preview for the week of July 28 begins at the DiMera mansion, as EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Chad (Billy Flynn) talk with EJ’s mom, Susan (Stacy Haiduk). “Mother fancies herself a medium,” EJ tells his younger brother. That gets Chad’s attention. “You talk to the dead?” he asks. “I sure do,” Susan confirms.
“I had a dream about being the Queen of the Night,” Marlena (Deidre Hall) confides in Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Next, Marlena wakes up on the couch with a start. What is this all about, and will Kayla be able to help her longtime friend make sense of it all?
Strange Relationships
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is confiding in her mother, Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), about the state of her marriage to Xander (Paul Telfer). “Xander and I made a decision about our marriage,” Sarah says as the scene switches to her giving good pal Brady (Eric Martsolf) a hug — one that Xander and Gwen (Emily O’Brien) witness.
Steve (Stephen Nichols) is one worried father. “I’ve stumbled on something that could affect Stephanie,” he tells his wife, Kayla. “How bad is it?” she asks, worried about their daughter.
Over at the DiMera mansion, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) is strategizing with Tony (Thaao Penghlis). He wants to get DiMera Enterprises back from the Kiriakis brothers at Titan, and with her help, he’s promised to name her CEO. “We fight fire with fire,” she tells him. He says back, “We fight fire with arson.”
And That’s Only the Beginning
The scene shifts back to Chad and EJ, who share a tense look as Susan gazes up at their father Stefano’s portrait. His shadow looms over everything and everyone. “There’s a reason Stefano is known as The Phoenix,” Rafe (Galen Gering) tells his partner in crime-fighting, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord).
The focus returns to Susan. “This is very, very bad,” she warns her son and Chad before the scene cuts again to Marlena. “She said that I was ill — body, mind and soul,” Marlena tells Kayla.
