Johnny’s life seems to finally be calming down on Days of our Lives. After raging against his father, EJ, when he learned of his horrific origins to getting acquitted from shooting his old man, Johnny could use a break. In real life, Carson Boatman, Johnny’s alter ego, has been building his life in big ways by balancing his career with his marriage to his wife, Julana, and their new child. The couple recently shared the latest chapter in their lives with his adoring fans.
A New Beginning
On Instagram, Boatman and Julana revealed: “We did it!! Officially moving into our next phase of life, homeownership! We are beyond excited to have some dirt that we can call our own, a place for Ava to grow up and a new backdrop to the memories we will make (and yes, we are tired of painting haha).” They included a video in which they painted “Welcome Home” with a large heart on one of their new walls.
Their post was met with an outpouring of congratulations, as one fan commented, “Having someone to love is family, having some place to go is home and having both is a blessing.” Someone else cheered, “Yayayyaya! So happy for you guys! Congratulations!!” Messages of excitement poured in, with one follower writing, “Weeeeee! I can’t wait to come visit,” and another saying, “Welcome to many memories that you’ll be under one roof within those walls it’ll be amazing congratulations.”
Love From Salem and Beyond
The couple’s DOOL family also joined in. Emily O’Brien (Gwen) shared, “Yes! That’s wonderful!! The painting and reno headaches will all be worth it in the end ;)” while Brandon Barash (Stefan) added, “Love and miss you guys — congrats! Much deserved.” Barash’s wife Isa echoed the love with, “Love and miss you both!! Congrats can’t wait to see it.” Raven Bowens, who plays Johnny’s on-screen wife Chanel, gushed, “Yesssssss!!!!! Congratulations.” And Tamara Braun (Ava) kept it short and sweet with, “Congrats beauties!”
Boatman’s Day Players band mate Eric Martsolf (Brady) lovingly wrote, “Congrats👏👏👏👏 So exciting👏🏻👏🏻.” Other fans from all over the world chimed in with one celebrating with, “A Huge Congratulations all the way from Sydney Australia.” And another reacted, “Congratulations! Wishing you and your family a lifetime of happiness and fond memories in your new digs.”
