Bravo is coming to an end as SEAL Team heads into its seventh and final season. The military drama has enjoyed great success on Paramount+ after moving to the streaming channel from CBS at the start of Season 5. It’s been a year since the series was greenlit for Season 7, and less than two months since it was announced that this season would be its final one. Now, as filming begins, David Boreanaz has shared a bittersweet photo, and I’m both shocked and touched by the realization.
David Boreanaz took to Instagram to share with fans that he has begun his final role as Jason Hayes, Bravo 1. While there’s not much to parse in the photo, it looks like he and the crew are in the midst of filming Episode 2 of Season 7, judging by the sign the former Angel actor is holding. Still, it’s a solid photo, and you can see it for yourself in the post below: Even though news of SEAL Team’s end broke back in November, fans still can’t seem to come to terms with the fact that they’ll soon have to say goodbye to Bravo. Like many others, r4chee admitted that they’re not ready for the show to end: No! I’m not ready for it to end!!! It’ll be nice to see you in September.
So far, very few details surrounding the plot of season seven have been released. However, fans should probably expect it to address the aftermath of the Season 6 finale, which saw Jason, Bravo, and the other SEALs acknowledge their trauma and what they’ve endured. Considering how traumatic the episode was, with the death of Clay Spenser, played by Max Thieriot, the final season will (hopefully) be a little lighter when it comes to wrapping up the stories. That’s what flaker356 is hoping for, anyway: Narlybookworm, meanwhile, isn’t too concerned about the action-drama coming to an end, it seems. They’re more focused on the prospect of David Boreanaz soon being able to move on to other projects that may or may not include revisiting a previous series: So you mean you’re free to do more movies now??
A SEAL Team Season 7 release date hasn’t been revealed yet, but it’s likely that the final episodes will still be part of the 2024 TV schedule. The fact that filming has already begun is certainly a good sign for that. While the show will be ending, fans can rest assured that the producers will want to see it end on a good note. I don’t know about you, but I’m both excited and emotional at the thought of what could happen in the finale of these episodes. Hopefully, there’ll be enough closure by the end of the film — and David Boreanaz will share more interesting BTS information like this photo.
Hopefully, a release date and more information about SEAL Team Season 7 will be announced soon. For now, know that all six seasons of the former CBS military drama are streaming with a Paramount+ subscription.
