A familiar face is returning to the One Chicago universe. Brian Geraghty is set to reprise his role as Sean Roman in an upcoming Chicago PD and Chicago Fire crossover event — marking his first appearance since leaving the series in season 3.
Roman, who moved to San Diego after being shot in the line of duty, left behind strong ties in Chicago, including his past romance with Kim Burgess and his close bond with Trudy Platt. Executive producer Rick Eid confirmed the comeback, teasing that Platt will play a meaningful role in Roman’s storyline.
Eid also revealed that the episode will center on an investigation involving Roman and his sister, adding an emotional twist to the already dramatic crossover.
This isn’t the first time the One Chicago shows have united — the franchises previously joined forces for a major three-episode event involving a citywide outbreak. Now, fans can look forward to another adrenaline-filled night when the special airs February 26 on NBC.
