Chicago Fire’s Lt. Stella Kidd Joins Madera’s Pomegranate Festival Festivities

The Pomegranate Fruit and Nut Festival is making its return to Madera, California, on Saturday, Nov. 2, and it’s bringing some special guests to town, including Chicago Fire actress Miranda Rae Mayo. Known for her role as Lieutenant Stella Kidd on the NBC hit series, Mayo will be attending the festival as its celebrity guest. Originally from nearby Fresno, Mayo moved to Los Angeles after high school to pursue acting full-time, ultimately landing her breakthrough role on Chicago Fire.

In addition to Mayo’s appearance, this year’s festival features plenty of family-friendly activities and entertainment. Highlights include a performance by Jaded, a popular cover band from the San Joaquin Valley known for playing hits from the ’60s through today. Attendees can also enjoy the Ohana Comic Con, a family event with pop culture themes, as well as the Valley Stealz Streetwear and Thrift Expo, showcasing unique fashion and thrift finds.

The festival will be held at the Madera County Fairgrounds, with free entry and parking available to all visitors. For additional details, visit the festival’s official website.
