Chicago Fire’s Joe Minoso Can Dance Crazy ‘Despacito’
Fire’s Joe Minoso can dance. And we have proof.
At a 2019 fan convention in Paris, France, Minoso showed off some seriously sweet moves just by listening to the catchy tune of Luis Fonsi’s hit “Despacito.” He was joined on stage by a few other One Chicago stars, but he completely stole the show.

Despite being surrounded by many of his One Chicago co-stars (we spotted Miranda Rae Mayo, Jesse Lee Soffer, Torrey DeVitto, and Marina Squerciati, among others, in the video), Minoso was still the star of the moment.
We shouldn’t be surprised by Minoso’s hidden talent. Many members of the One Chicago cast are musically gifted. We’re still in awe of their collective singing skills.
The man who played Firehouse 51’s Joe Cruz for years on Chicago Fire has a hot side. In fact, he and Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney appeared on PEOPLE’s 2022 Sexiest Men Alive issue.
In an interview with the magazine, Minoso played coy when asked how he stays in such great shape. In fact, he blamed Kinney.
“Now Taylor tries her best to buy me as many Big Macs on my birthday as I’m old. There are forty-four Big Macs in my cart,” Minoso joked. “I don’t know how I’d stay sexy if I kept getting Big Macs from Taylor.”

“I’m a big fan of Zumba,” Minoso says. “I do a lot of cardio with Zumba.”
So let the record show that Minoso credits dodging Big Mac attacks and dancing to Zumba to his world-famous charm. Oh, and those spontaneous dance parties to “Despacito!”
